Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-07-13. Plain-language summary of what LinkBio actually does with data — not a copy-pasted legal template.
What we collect
Account info: the email and display name from your sign-in method (email/password or Google), and the username you choose.
Profile content: whatever you put in your profiles — names, bios, links, social handles, and any avatar/cover/background image or video you upload.
Anonymous page analytics: when someone visits or clicks a link on a published profile, we increment aggregate daily counters (views, clicks, and rough country/device/browser/referrer buckets). We do not log individual visitors, IP addresses tied to a person, or build a cross-site tracking profile.
Cookies
LinkBio does not set tracking cookies. The one thing stored in your browser is a small preference (in localStorage, not a cookie) recording whether you've opted out of the anonymous analytics described above — set via the "Cookie Preferences" link on any profile page.
Where data lives
Account and profile data is stored with Firebase (Google Cloud). Uploaded images and videos are stored with Cloudflare R2. If a profile uses a custom Google Font, that font file is fetched directly from Google Fonts when the page loads.
Reporting a profile
Anyone can report a public profile via the "Report" link in its footer. Reports include the reason you select, any details you add, and are reviewed by us for policy violations — they aren't visible to the reported account.
Deleting your data
Deleting a profile in your dashboard permanently deletes its content and analytics. To delete your entire account, contact us using the details below.
